Biden reacted to Putin’s threats
US President Joe Biden has responded to recent threats by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Biden made the statement after a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House on Friday, September 13.
This is reported by the publication The Guardian.
The US president said he “I don’t think much about Putin”, who threatened NATO with war over allowing Ukraine to hit Russian territory.
In general, the head of the White House rejected the assertion of the Russian dictator.
The US President said that if Ukraine starts using Western weapons to launch long-range strikes against Russia, it will in no way lead to escalation.
The Guardian writes, citing its own sources, that London and Washington have already authorized Ukraine to use long-range missiles but are not yet ready to announce it.
The deployment of the missiles, Western officials add, should be part of a broader plan to end full-scale war.
As you know earlier, Putin commented on Ukraine’s authorization for Western missile strikes on Russian territory.
He said that such actions by the USA and Europe would mean direct participation of NATO countries in the war in Ukraine.
