Ex-President Donald Trump has received yet another round of criticism for his scandalous statements about Russia and NATO.
US President Joe Biden commented on Trump’s recent statements, in which he described how he threatened NATO countries that he would incite Russia to attack if they did not contribute to the Alliance.
The American leader called Trump “a useful henchman of Putin.”
Joe Biden wrote about this on his page on the social network X. In this post, he explained why Ukraine is so important.
“You want to know why Ukraine is important? Because as you can see, Putin and his useful lackeys have their eyes on bigger prizes,” Biden wrote.
Earlier, White House spokesman Andrew Bates responded to Trump’s statement.
“Encouraging invasion of our closest allies by murderous regimes is horrific and unjustified. It threatens U.S. national security, global stability and our economy,” said Andrew Bates.
Trump previously said he would “encourage” Russia to attack NATO allies who don’t pay their bills.
