US President Joe Biden has arrived in France on a visit to mark the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings.
Biden will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron in addition to taking part in the celebrations.
The US president is also scheduled to have two shake-ups with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
The first meeting will take place in France, on the 80th anniversary of the landing of the Allies in Normandy, and the second in a week in Italy in the framework of the G7 summit.
Earlier, there was information that in Normandy will also announce France’s plans to support Ukraine.
“I will have the opportunity when President Zelensky goes to France next week to receive him and then talk very specifically to announce what we intend to do,” Emanuel Macron said
Reuters reports that the meeting will also discuss the use of about $300 billion from frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine.
