ATACMS missile strike on Russian airfield
At least two American-made ATACMS missiles struck the Russian Kursk Vostochny airfield.
This was reported by OSINT analysts.
“The moment, two cluster ATACMS missiles landed at the Kursk Vostochny airfield. Location Kursk,” the report says.
Analysts indicated the approximate coordinates of the points where the ATACMS missiles hit.
Videos have appeared online, allegedly, of today’s ATACMS strike on the Kursk region.
The footage shows strikes by at least five missiles with cluster warheads.
In addition to the strikes on the Russian Kursk Vostochny airfield, two strikes on the S-400 position can be seen; this is the air defense trying to repel the attack.
In the Kursk region, ATACMS destroyed a modern, expensive S-400 anti-aircraft missile system along with 5 officers.
According to the British weekly The Economist, the cost of one S400 battery is approximately $200 million.
There are no official comments yet.
Earlier, it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a military facility on Russian territory for the first time.
American ATACMS ballistic missiles were used for the strike.
The first strike was carried out on the Russian military arsenal of the 1046th logistics point in the Bryansk region.
