In Thailand, animal rights activists took an obese monkey from its owner and sent it for treatment.

It is reported that the three-year-old monkey was living in a market in Bangkok.

The owner tied to the counter, and visitors to the market, passing near the monkey, constantly treat it to food.

As a result, the monkey began to weigh 20 kilograms, which is twice their normal weight at that age.

Concerned about the animal’s health, the market visitors contacted representatives of the wildlife protection center.

Animal advocates visited the owner and the obese monkey and sent the animal for compulsory treatment.
