A fire at an electrical substation in the town of Balashikha, Moscow Region, occurred in the evening of May 14.

This is reported by the Russian independent Telegram channel Astra.

Local authorities say that the cause of the fire was allegedly a short circuit, while the head of the city was silent on the cause.

Opposition Russian media say the cause could have been arson.

The fire occurred at the substation of the local plant “Progress”, on the territory of which is located in / h / 35533 FSB RF.

It is reported that this military unit is part of the Scientific and Technical Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

The center develops, produces and tests electronic media for various programs for the country’s military complex and civilian enterprises.

The day before, it was reported that on the territory of Russia, combat drones attacked railroad trains with fuel.

During the drone attack, nine tank cars derailed, leading to a large-scale fire.
