It became known that the American actor Val Kilmer died. At the time of his death, he was 65 years old.
The cause of death was pneumonia, said the daughter of the artist Mercedes, reports The New York Times.
Kilmer’s career peaked in the 90s. One of his most famous works is the main role in the movie “Batman Forever”.
He also reincarnated as The Doors lead singer Jim Morrison in the biopic of the same name.
Kilmer’s other films include “The Clash,” “True Love,” and “Tombstone: Legend of the Wild West.”
The actor’s career went downhill in the early 2000s, when the high-budget movie Red Planet, in which he played the lead role, failed at the box office.
