It became known that a training plane of the country’s Air Force crashed in Turkey, it flew from the base in Kayseri.
“Aircraft type SF-260D, belonging to the Air Force Command, flying out of the 12th main air transport base in Kayseri for training and testing, crashed for unknown reasons,” – reported the Turkish Defense Ministry.
Later, social media published a report on the deaths of two pilots.
As Savunma SanayiST notes, SF-260D type aircraft are used at Turkish Air Force bases to train pilots before they fly KT-1 and T-38 aircraft.
The cause of the crash is still unknown, and the incident is under investigation.
