A Russian bomb hit a residential high-rise building in Kharkiv
Today, on August 30, the Russians shelled the city of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs (KABs).
Four people are known to have been killed and many injured. The strike hit the central part of the city, the civilian infrastructure.
The guided bomb hit a 12-story apartment building, resulting in a fire.
As of right now, three fatalities are known. It is known that a child died right on the playground.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the strike on Kharkiv by Russian guided bombs.
He called on the West to authorize strikes with long-range weapons on the territory of Russia, as well as to speed up the transfer of promised air defense systems.
“A strike that would not have happened if our defense forces had the ability to destroy Russian military aviation where they are based,” the Ukrainian leader said.
