A Norwegian Airlines plane flying from Stockholm to Paris made an emergency landing at its departure airport, according to Expressen.
“The flight from Stockholm to Paris made an emergency landing at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport after a tire burst,” the article said.
According to the publication, after the plane took off, debris from the burst tire remained on the runway.
The pilot received a signal to turn around and fly at low altitude over the runway for inspection.
After inspection by specialists, a decision was made to land the aircraft. There were 181 passengers on board, the newspaper said.
The plane landed at around 11 a.m. local time. It is noted that the landing was successful and no one was injured.
