A passenger plane crashed in India

It became known that the passenger plane crashed near the airport of the city of Ahmedabad in the west of India.

As noted by News18, on board the fallen airplane, according to preliminary data, were more than 250 passengers.

It is also reported that presumably the incident occurred when the plane was flying to London.

At the scene of the incident, the fire brigade mobilized rapid response teams.

Indian authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the crash and exactly how many people were on board.

Preliminarily, the Air India flight went down near the airport after a failed takeoff attempt.

For the last data on board, the plane that crashed were 242 people: 12 crew members and 232 passengers.
