A mysterious object fell to Earth from space
A mysterious object unexpectedly fell from space to Earth in front of miners in Australia, according to the Daily Star.
A large fireball was reported to have streaked across the sky and fallen in the area of Newman, Western Australia.
Local miners witnessed the object’s fall. At the scene, they found a melted pile of metal.
Police officers who arrived at the scene said that the fallen object could be a piece of space debris.
Experts later confirmed that what fell in Newman was most likely the fuel tank of a Chinese Jielong rocket launched in September.
After separating from the rocket, the fuel tank orbited and then entered the atmosphere but did not burn up completely.
Recently, the fall of such objects has become frequent, and they have even been given a special nickname—space balls.
At the same time, space experts and airlines are concerned about the increase in such incidents.
Such debris often enters the atmosphere on unpredictable trajectories, and their fall can lead to disaster.
Earlier it was reported that a series of strong earthquakes could occur in North America. If this happens off the Pacific coast, it could lead to a series of disasters.
