China held its largest military parade in honor of its victory over Japan.
Xi Jinping, Putin, and Kim Jong-un appeared together in public for the first time.
At the parade, China presented a full range of strategic systems that make up the triad of nuclear forces: land, sea, and air components.
According to CNN, these include:
– the new DF-5C intercontinental ballistic missile with a range covering almost the entire planet
– the DF-61 intercontinental missile
– the JL-1 airborne ballistic missile
– the JL-3 intercontinental submarine-launched missile
– an updated version of the DF-31 ground-based ICBM.
In addition, China’s military space forces and cyber forces were demonstrated for the first time.
The parade also featured China’s latest strike and reconnaissance drones.
