A defense plant is on fire in Russia

The Yekaterinburg defense plant, NPO defense, is on fire in Russia.

It is reported that one of the buildings of the enterprise is on fire. The area of the fire covered more than 1000 square meters.

“NPO Automatics is named after N.A. Semikhatov.” – one of the largest enterprises of the Russian Federation in the field of the development of control systems.

The plant manufactures control systems and radio-electronic equipment for space technology.

It also manufactures electronics for intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Russian authorities have not yet named the cause of the fire at the plant.
