A British archaeologist has discovered Atlantis
It became known that the British archaeologist Michael Donnellan made a sensational statement that he discovered Atlantis.
Atlantis allegedly disappeared 11.5 thousand years ago, off the coast of Cadiz in southwestern Spain. This is reported by the Daily Mail.
According to the archaeologist, he explored the coast of Cadiz for eight years with sonar and lidar.
And finally he discovered structures on the ocean floor that form huge circular walls.
“The outer walls show significant damage, as if they were destroyed by a powerful tsunami. In the center are rectangular ruins that match Plato’s description of Poseidon’s temple,” the archaeologist’s words were quoted.
As evidence, he showed pictures that his team took during dives to the remains of the alleged Atlantis.
Donnellan believes that his discovery may change the perception of ancient civilization, turning it from myth to historical fact.
