A Boeing flying from Moscow crash-landed in Russia

During a flight on December 29 from Moscow to Kogalym, Tyumen Region, an engine of a Russian Utair airline passenger plane suffered an engine failure.

This happened two hours after departure from Moscow Vnukovo airport.

It is reported that the Boeing 737-500 made an emergency landing in Surgut.

The emergency landing went well, and passengers are about to be transported by ground.

Despite the loud statements of the Russian authorities that they are not affected by sanctions, they regularly have unpleasant situations with air transport.

Despite the fact that the Russians are trying to develop “import substitution,” they have special problems in the aviation industry.

For the entire 2023, Russia was able to produce only two aircraft, the quality of which is unknown.
