In the 911 call, a male voice could be heard saying, “You can die with me.”
Officers arrived at scene and saw that the victim had left the home.
They noticed that the woman was very upset and crying, and her arm was bleeding profusely and had bruises on her neck.
Sheriff’s deputies found out that the woman had been attacked by her own husband, with whom she had lived with for 60 years.
The man was still in the house. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
