It has become known that 44 countries in The Hague have supported the creation of a special tribunal for Russia for crimes against Ukraine.
The corresponding declaration was adopted following the conference “Restoring Justice for Ukraine”, which was attended by 57 countries.
The declaration states that the signatory countries are committed to the creation of a special tribunal to investigate and prosecute the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
The document was supported by 44 countries. Among them: the EU member states, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Moldova, New Zealand, the UK, the USA.
“I am confident that by working together, we will be able to find all the necessary solutions and bring the tribunal to life. We need to make another push to do this,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.
About 200 Ukrainians who lost their homes as a result of Russian aggression have already applied to the damage register.
