Drones Attacked the Port of Ust-Luga

On the night of March 25, drones launched a massive attack on the city of Vyborg in Russia’s Leningrad Oblast, targeting the local port.

This city is an important Baltic port and industrial center of the Russian Federation.

According to Ukrainian social media posts, fuel tanks are on fire at the port of Ust-Luga, and one of the ships at the port of Vyborg has been damaged.

It is also known that the “Agricola” building, located near the FSB building, caught fire in the city itself.

Footage of the aftermath of the strike on the port has appeared online. It is reported that a ship was damaged, causing it to list and likely begin sinking.

The ship in question is the “Dzerzhinsky,” which is being built for the FSB Border Guard Service of the Russian Federation and was laid down in December 2023.

Project 23550 icebreakers are multifunctional military ice-class ships capable of operating in the Arctic, carrying weapons, and performing both patrol and combat missions.

Experts estimate the cost of such an icebreaker at around $300 million.

Earlier reports indicated that a Ukrainian drone had destroyed a camouflaged Russian tank in the woods, along with its terrified crew, who had fled and tried to hide among the trees.
